Trang 4Application #1: Ordering a MicroVAM CWDM Module
• Example A: One common port with four channels and a 1310 nm upgrade port.
• Example A: Catalog number CWFMT-2LLBE0CY1000 was created from page 23 in the VAM catalog #101663AE:
• This catalog number example would have a common port for the incoming signal and four channels λ 1530 nm,
1510 nm, 1490 nm and 1470 nm It would also have a 1310 upgrade port for legacy 1310 nm systems.

CWDM Module Options
Trang 7Ordering Notes
• MicroVam modules for FMT drawers and NG3 are six port front access only This is due to space constraints
All NG3 and FMT MicroVam module catalog numbers start with CWFMT-2
• Channel sequence for any CWDM module with more than one channel are configured from highest to lowest
For example: Catalog number CWVMW-5LLBC0CN4000 is 1570 nm, 1550 nm, 1530 nm and 1510 nm.
Ordering Notes for 1310 Upgrade Ports
• The 1310 nm upgrade or legacy port is not counted in the number of channels
in the ordering scheme
• For example, a customer could request four channels, four circuits and a 1310 nm
upgrade port This module would be considered a four channel circuit with 1310
nm upgrade An example catalog number would be CWVMW-577BACY4000
WideVam module, common ports in rear, channels in front, SC connectors, four
channels starting with 1610 nm and going down in 20 nm increments, four channel
MUX/DEMUX, 1310 nm Upgrade, four circuits
