- By the end of the lesson , Ss will be able to talk about the traditional Vietnamse cothing, “Ao dai”

1 / Warm-up : (8’) Guessing game

- Have Ss look at some tranditional clothes and say

- Lead to the new lesson: “the traditional dress in

Viet Nam, ao dai”

- Look at the pictures and say

- Listen

2/ Presentation: (15’)

 Activity 1:

- Ask Ss to look at the picture and answer the

questions

1 Who often wear Ao dai?

2 Do men wear Ao dai?When?

3 Is Ao dai now different from the one in the

past?

Activity 2:

Pre-teach vocabulary

- Use pictures to introduce the words

I New words:

1 traditional (a): truyền thống

2 pattern (n): kiểu

3 material(n): chất liệu

4 inspiration(n): cảm hứng

- Observe, and answer
