Cách thành lập trạng từ chỉ thể cách: (Adverb of manner)

Adjective + ly  Adverb of manner

-Trạng từ chỉ thể cách cho biết điều gì đó xảy ra hoặc

được thực hiện như thế nào.

- Trạng từ chỉ thể cách thường đứng ở cuối câu.

Ex: He drives his car carefully

Tim did very well.

Form : S + V + a/ an + Adj + Noun Or : S + Be + Adj

S + V + Adverb Use :

Adverb modifies the verb of the sentence

Adjective modifies the noun after it

 hard (adv.) and hardly (adv.) : have different meanings.

Example:

Tim’s mother reported it to Tim:

Miss Jackson asked me to give you this dictionary Miss Jackson told me to give you this dictionary.

a/ She said, “ Can you give Tim this dictionary ?”
