I Aims and Objectives:

1 Aims: Helping students to read the text for details about the way how to learn English

2 Ojectives: By the end of the lesson, ss will be able to understand the text and get specific information about how to learn English

II Teaching aids: Textbook, poster ,

III Way of working: Wc- T, group work , individual work, pair work

IV Anticipated problems : The Text is long

V Procedure :

1 Organization

2 Checking the old lesson :

Say 5 reported speechs

3 New lesson:

Warm up

T: Ask students some questions about

their English learning.

S: answer (whole class work)

T: introdure the lesson

* Chatting

Do you like learning English ?

How many new words do you try to learn

a day?

What do you do when you read a new word?

How do you learn / remember new words?

Pre- reading

T: Pre- teach vocabulary : -

S: read the new words (whole class =>

individualy work)

T: checking vocablary

* slap the board

T: - Write new words (add some words:

different, important) all over the

blackboard (not in a list).

- Call on 2 students from 2 teams to the

front the class and ask them to stand at an

equal distance from the blackboard

- Call out a new word in Vietnamese and 2

students must run forward and slap the

word on the board The one who first

slaps the correct word will be the winner

and get one good mark.

- The game continues until all the words

are slapped.
