Mục đích cuối cùng của việc học ngoại ngữ là giao tiếp Vì vậy, khi học 1 ngoạingữ học sinh phải hết sức coi trọng việc học từ vựng Không có từ vựng thì không cóngôn ngữ Học sinh học thuôc lòng phần từ vựng qua mỗi bài học Từ vựng có thể đợchọc qua các bài đối thoại, các bài đọc hay mẫu câu Phải luyện tập từ vựng qua nhiềuhình thức Luỵên tập từ kết hợp với luyện tập các mẫu câu và các cấu trúc ở lớp phảitích cực thực hành luyện nói theo cặp, theo nhóm để phát huy khả năng giao tiếp.Tranh thủ luyện nghe thêm ở nhà: có thể mua thêm một số tài liệu tự nghe hiểu ởnhà Làm đầy đủ các bài tập tơng ứng với mỗi bài học trong sách bài tập
