Practice 2 – Create & configure your Application
Step 1: Run sharepoint central admin site.

Practice 3 – Create & configure your Sites
Step 1: Create site collection (top site)
Click on Create site collection

click Creating and managing Web applications and sites -> Creating and managing sites -> Create sites and subsites
Step 2: Create sub site
Open site collection created in step 1
Trang 8Click Site Action -> Create
Click Sites and workspaces

Trang 10Practice 4 – Create & customize list
Step 1: Create List
Open site collection or sub site created above
Click on Site action -> Create
Trang 11Select type of list you want to create We suggest you try to create one for each type to see how they work Or you can create your own list and then customize it Input List name and description in the screen below.

Open list you created

Practice 5 – Create web part page Step 1: Create web part page
Click Create

Trang 19For this layout there are 5 web part zone in web page and we can add web part to these web part zone.
Click on add a web part button
Select web part you want to add to the web part zone then click add button
Trang 20Click edit -> Modify web part to customize the web part layout.
Trang 21Select the views you want to use in this web part you can select the view you created previous Other options affect layout of web part, please try all of them.

Click edit page button to change to edit mode

Practice 6 – Create communication between two web part.
Step 1: Create List name Order Header with the following column
- Order Code
- Order Date
- Order Desc
- Customer
Step 2: Create List name Order Detail with the following column
- Order Header (link to Order header item)
- Item Code
- Item Desc
- Quantity

- Amount (calculated column = Quantity x Price)
Step 3: Create web part page name OrderList
add two web part OrderHeader, OrderDetail to web part Page

click Next button

Now Order detail web part will filter by the select order header
Practice 7 – Maintain quick launch bar and top link bar Step 1: add and delete item in quick launch bar

Step 1: Open central admin site
Click on workflow settings
Be sure that your web application enable user-defined workflows

Add column status with 3 options:
- Open
- Pending
- Close
Trang 30Step 3: Configure workflow for OrderHeader list
Open Order Header list setting

Select Start this workflow when a new item is created check box
Trang 32This screen allow user to select the task description and email template for each state of order header.
Now when you create new item in the order header you can see the new item was created in the task list said that order header need to review
When the status of order header change to pending you can see another task
in the task list said that order header need to complete
Practice 9 – Save site template.
Open site settings
Click on Save site template
Trang 33Input file name Click on Include content to save data to the template.
Practice 10 – Backup application
Step 1: Run central admin and click on Operation tab
Click on Perform backup
Trang 34Select application want to backup then lick continue
Input backup directory and click OK
