LESSON PLAN

1.Class details:

 Lesson: Unit 8 : Celebrations

 Section A : Reading

 Level: Tieng Anh 11 (Basic)

 Time allotted: 45 minutes

2 Aims: Reading comprehension, Transport vocabulary

3 Objectives: By the end of the lesson, the students will be able to:

 Use vocabulary items relating to celebrations

 Find general ideas about Tet holiday

 Scan for specific information about Tet in Vietnam

 Describe activities of a holiday

4 Teaching aids and materials: Textbook, lesson plan, pictures,

blackboard, posters, …

5 Procedures:

- T gives instructions:

 T divides the class into 4 teams

 T shows a picture (a picture of Tet holiday ) to Ss

 T asks Ss to remember things in the picture for 30 s

 T takes away the picture and asks Ss
