SUMMARY OF NEW RESEARCHING FINDINGS OF THE DOCTORALDISSERTATION
The dissertation is a doctoral research work that focuses on the law on subsidies under the WTO regulations, the practice of the law on subsidies of some member countries, the practice of settlement of subside disputes under the WTO framework and on that basis it offers lessons learnt and solutions to improve the law on subsidies of Viet Nam
In terms of theory, the dissertation contributes to the clarification of theoretical issues on the WTO subsidies in which it analyses and assesses each subsidy component and the viewpoints and ideas on the application and maintenance of subsidies in accoradance with different schools of thought In addition, the dissertation contributes to the clarification of the WTO regulations on subsidy special treatment for developing countries as well as the process and trends of development
of such regulations
In terms of practice, the dissertation has analysed and clarified the WTO regulations on subsidies through the disputes resovled by the DSB and the practice of the law on subsidies of some member countries
Through the study of theoretical and practical issues, the dissertation draws profound lessons and offers recommendations for improving the national law on subsidies towards the goal of enhancing competitiveness for products and enterprises in Viet Nam Also, the dissertation analyses and offers revelevant recommendations for Vietnamese enterprises to approach and take advantages
of the law on subsidies of Viet Nam as well as for the more active and effective integration of Viet Nam in the subsidy issue
