All installations must conform with local codes, or in the absence of local codes, with the National Fuel Gas Code, ANSI Z233.1 / NFPA 54 or Natural Gas and Propane Installation Code, CSA B149.1

Do not store or use gasoline or other fl ammable vapors or liquids in the vicinity of this or any other appliance.

General information and maintenance

If the pilot fl ame does not light up, do not turn on the main cock handle

If the pilot fl ame does not light up after turning on the main cock handle or pilot light cannot light

up, inform the qualifi ed service agent to take appropriate action on maintenance and replacement

Remember to turn off the pilot light valve while not in cooking for an extended period of time

The kitchen exhaust system must be turned on whenever the appliance is in operating

Always pay attention to any gas leakage from the main cock handle and/or connection joints of the gas pipes If there is leakage problem and strong smell of gas amount appearance, must not turn on any button Turn off the main gas supply valve, open the windows and then inform the qualifi ed service agent for maintenance

Clean and drain the water tank daily

When the appliance is idle, clean the body and water drainage channel and always keep it tidy

To avoid damages on the cabinet body, do not strike bulky and heavy objects onto the cabinet

Important Note:

Single Steamer

SHUT OFF

For temporary shut off, just turn off the Main Gas Cock (9) Leave the Pilot Light (10) on

If the appliance is not in use, turn off all the gas valves Also shut off Water Gate Valve (7) and Drainage Gate Valve (11) after draining water off from the chamber

Double Steamers

* This appliance is only for professional use and that it should be used by qualifi ed people.

TURN ON

Turn on the exhaust fan to keep the kitchen in good ventilation Make sure water in the water tank is

up to the standard level

Before lighting the appliance, ensure all gas valves are in closed position

Turn on the Pilot Light (10) Press the Electronic Ignition Button (13) and Flame failure device (safety valve) (8) simultaneously to light the pilot Once the pilot fl ame is established, hold the buttons for 30 seconds

If the pilot fl ame is not lit, wait for 5 minutes before attempting step (c)

Turn on the Main Gas Cock (9) until a desirable fl ame is obtained Steam will be produced shortly (normally in 8 minutes)

Important Notes:

Make sure water is removed from the heat exchange chamber at least once a day

If countries have hard water problem, water softener must be added to supply soft water to the chamber

WHAT TO DO IF YOU SMELL GAS:

Do not light any appliance

Do not touch any electric switch

Do not use any phone in your building

Immediately call your gas supplier from a phone outside the building

Follow your gas supplier’s instructions

If your gas supplier cannot be reached, call the fi re department

Installation and service must be performed by a qualifi ed installer, service agent or the gas supplier

Structure

The steamer is constructed of high quality stainless steel with three major portions: the stainless steel turbo jet burners, the exterior body and the stainless steel heat exchange chamber

The top of the steamer is constructed of stainless steel with slope to water drainage channel with perforated cover and a steam discharge cap opening The exterior body is constructed of stainless steel cover panels

The heat exchange chamber is newly designed It can produce a great volume of powerful steam from the heat exchange chamber in a short while Steam is an extremely effi cient heat transfer medium, it goes up from cap opening and carries a great deal of heat energy which readily transfers directly to the food and therefore more time and power can be saved The inbuilt water tank is equipped with automatic fl oat ball device to control water level and check cover To ensure safety, the steamer is equipped with overheat device and cut off to heat exchange chamber as well as the fl ame failure device (safety valve) to ensure safety operation

The gas burner system is equipped with specially designed stainless steel turbo jet burners, the fl ue, the frame, the side and the front cover panels and adjustable bullet feet The front panel is equipped with main cock handle, pilot light, fl ame failure device (safety valve), the inspection hole, the electronic ignition, etc
