What are there in your neighborhood?

often write to him/her?

III New lesson

 Pre - writing

 Format of an informal letter

- Explain the outline of a letter for a

friend

Ask ss to work in pairs to put the outline

for an informal letter in the correct order

T gets FB

 Questions and Answers drill

Where do you live?

What does your house look like?

 While- writing

- Ask ss to work individual on the

transparencies to write a letter to one of

their friends about their neighborhood

- Ask ss to use the suggested questions

and the answer in the drill above to

write, they can add some epressions to

the letter to make it more interesting

- T gets FB on the OHP and the

transparencies Ask some presenters to

read their letter

- Ask other ss to give comment on the

language, format, …

- Discussion and write it up

Ask ss to work in group of 6 to discuss

d It’s far from my house so I have to ride my bike/ It's not very far so I can walk to school

e There is a park / a swimming pool /some restaurants/ a post office/ a library/ a market/ a hospital/
