ABSTRACT:

Bamboo tree is a typical flora in Vietnam that

considers as a natural fence that could not

overcome in almost all villages Bamboo tree

provides also the material of building, chopstick,

and bamboo art plywood, absorbent of sweat

mat… In the technology of manufacture of

bamboo art plywood, the grinding of bamboo tree

to powder is always the principal instrument in

the process of production of bamboo product

The paper represents a design and

manufactures a typical grinding machine of bamboo tree that could be suitable to the characteristic of this typical tree in Vietnam The design interests also the provided source of power, the movement of the design machine when it has to work in the bamboo forest very far from electric power We hope that this research will contribute a tiny part in the exploiting an endless material in our country

1 INTRODUTION

Bamboo is very popular in a large area in South

East of Asia, especially in Vietnam This

evergreen tree is considered as natural fence

that is unable to cross Bamboo is also a popular

raw material for wattle, canvas, basket, seat,

chopsticks, village house frame and even

boats…

Long time ago, the trifling materials of bamboo

after used are burned that causes lot of pollution

in the recent years they are grinded to powder

that is blended with glue to form additive

substance for plywood… The bamboo power that

is the product of the processes of grinding has

been used as a raw material for production of chopsticks, plywood and so many other products The paper concentrates to describe the process of grinding trivial bamboo and grinding machine

The following figures represent briefly the process of the process of grinding trifling bamboo that were performed in CAD-CAM workshop of the 2National Key Lab of Digital Control and System Engineering (DCSELab), University of Technology, VNU-HCMC, Vietnam

3 DESIGN THE BAMBOO GRINDING MACHINED

Bamboo grinding machine is focused in the

paper There are many alternate design of

bamboo grinding machine, in this paper we

selected the schema of 2 shafts cutter as in the Figure 2

The initial demanded parameters

 Principal primitive material: trivial bamboo

branches

 Productivity: 100 – 120 kg/h

Small type: 40x60x100

 Dimensions of chips after grinded:

cutter shaft is n=114.59 RPM,

Selected n=115 RPM,

which are alternately mounted on 2 shafts and these cutters are alternately engaged with fixed cutter that is mount on the frame as in the following figure (Figure 3)

The following figures (Figure 4) illustrate the

assembly drawing of the grinding housing and

cutters shafts and Figure 5 displays the outside

of manufactured bamboo grinding machine

is used to transport bamboo powder in the bottom tank under the grinding machine to a suitable altitude The following table displays the technical parameters of the bamboo grinding machine

4 APPLICATION

The designed and manufactured bamboo

grinding machine was an opinion and

recommendation of the director boards of

Bamboo Village Phu An, Binh Duong province to

the DCSElab After designed and manufacture

session with our own experiments, the achieved

machine that was delivered last year is working

in normal maintenance with the demanded

productivity

5 CONCLUSION

The manufactured machine in the service

for agriculture, art handicraft and small industry

products firmly proves the essential position and

valuation of the domestic manufacture in saving

finance for imported machine Nowadays,

confronted to the competition of Chinese

bamboo grinding machines, we think that our designed and manufactured domestic bamboo machine could overcome the Chinese machine because some of the following reasons:

- The logical design and the quality of materials and manufactured process will enhance the quality of domestic machine

- Price of domestic machines could be excluded of import tax and decreased the transportation spending

sản xuất đũa, ván ép mỹ thuật bằng tre, chiếu

hút mồ hôi,… Trong công nghệ chế tạo ván ép

mỹ thuật bằng tre, máy nghiền bột tre luôn là

thiết bị quan trọng trong quy trình sản xuất sản

phẩm tre cao cấp này Bài nghiên cứu này giới
