III Procedure

Warm up

Play game: Review the number and objects

Have students review the numbers

Stick the pictures (sofa, coat, table, toy box, boat ) on the small board to review

Look and say

Ask students to open their book

Show the picture on the board

Point to the picture from 1 to 4

Look at the story and answer the questions:

Who are the people in the story ?

What are they doing?

What happens to the sandcastles?

Listen and comment

Listen

Guide students to listen the story: from the left to the right ( picture 1 to picture 4) Play the recording for students to listen all the way through

Play again, pause after each picture for students to listen showly

Ask students to say about the story in Vietnamese

Practice the story by reading

Tell the story

Listen and comment

Listen and act

Replay the recording, ask students to listen and point

Play again, pause after each picture for students to listen showly

Guide students to perform the story, using the picture: boat
