Warm up

Play game: Review the number and objects

Greeting

Have students say the words about the house and room: beach, crab, sand ,

sandcastle, sea, shell, umbrella

Listen and say

Ask students to open their book on page 40-41

Review the name of characters: Tess, Baz are making a sandcastle Adam is

looking at the crabs Mum and Dad are sitting on a blanket Mum is also reading

Call some students repeat.

Read the words: one point and one read

Listen and comment

Give out the other sentences

Say and do

Play the rocording, pause after each phrase for students to repeat

Have students repeat several times

How many umbrellas are there?

How many flowers are there?

Play game: say the letter and the sound “e”

Have students review the word and sound

Learn the sound

Find out the word with this sound

Listen and comment

Read the words: one point and one read

Listen and comment

Sing

Introduce the song about the sounds “-et”

Play the recording for students to listen all the way through

Play the recording, pause after each line for students to sing

Ask students to sing and point to the “ –et” and the words on their books

Have students sing several times

Sing the song

Listen and comment

Find

Ask students to look at the picture in the bottom of 42

Find the words with “-et”

Say the words “ jet, net, wet” in random; one read and one find
