b) Những danh từ tận cùng bằng O nhưng có nguồn gốc không phải là tiếng Anh chỉ thêm S ở số nhiều

3 Những danh từ tận cùng bằng phụ âm + Y thì chuyển Y thành i trước khi lấy thêm ES (Nguyên âm + Y: chỉ thêm S)

4 Những danh từ tận cùng bằng F hay FE thì chuyển thành VES

1 Được phát âm là /z/: khi đi sau các nguyên âm và các phụ

âm hữu thanh (voiced consonants), cụ thể là các phụ âm sau:
