• The tube should be meshed with shell elements;
• Select the proper tube face type

Calculate - Calculate the center line,
perimeter, diameter and the process info;
Edit - Edit the center line;
Swap - Adjust the starting point of bending;
Simplify - Convert the center line from
discrete point to arc and line
The illustration shows the current section
of the tube and the perimeter of the tube
Min Perimeter - The minimum perimeter
of the tube section;
Max Perimeter - The maximum perimeter
of the tube section;
Length - The total length of the tube
center line;
Diameter - The tube blank diameter

After calculating the center line, click the
Simplify button to switch to the Bending tab The process, outer diameter and full length of the tube are calculated automatically
Add - Add a bending step after the last step;
Insert - Insert a bending step after the current step;
Delete - Delete the current bending step;
Delete All - Delete all the steps;
Edit - Edit the simplified process line to the center line;
Preview - Preview the bending process with
an animation;
Import - Import the defined bending process;
Export - Export the current bending process

Drag the control point to make the process line fit the tube center line
Key in the radius and angle to adjust the process line Ang = 180 - Bending angle

Click Play to view the animation of the tube bending
The tube surface is generated simultaneously during the animation
Feed - Feed length;
Rotate - Rotate angle;
Bend - Bending angle;
Radius - Bend die radius;
Frames - Total frames of the

• Outer diameter and Full length are generated automatically;
• The user can set the Element size of the tube blank based on the tube diameter;
• Click Create to generate the tube blank
Note:
Before calculating the tube center line, the user must first define the tube thickness

• After generating the process, the tool
parameters are calculated automatically;
• Click Create to generate the tools;
• Click OK to enter the setup GUI
