Description:

•  New button to calculate

“Blank mesh size”

•  First, the database should have parts including surfaces

•  Click this button, and the GUI is shown in slide 4

•  Note: This calculation button is only active in Autosetup

Description of New Feature

Description:

•  When entering this function, the program will pop up the

“Select Surface” dialog and allow the user to select the key surfaces including radius

•  Select Surface allows the user to select desired surfaces

•  Parameter: the parameters of the selected surface and the calculated mesh size

•  Radius: the radius of the selected surface

•  Angle: the angle of the selected surface

•  Mesh Size: the calculated mesh size by the radius and the defined mesh number on the radius

•  Mesh Num.: Allow the user to define the mesh

number on the selected radius surface

•  Refining meshes allows the user to define the

maximum refinement levels

•  Refining meshes: If toggled on, the max level will be activated If toggled off, the program will not consider the refinement when calculating the mesh size

•  Max refinement levels: Allow the user to define the

maximum refinement levels The default value comes from the Control page in Auto setup

•  If the level is modified, the level value in the Control

page in Autosetup and default config will be modified accordingly

•  Click OK to Confirm the setting and exit the dialog

•  Click Cancel to exit the dialog

2.  Auto Setup>Blank Generator>Blank mesh Click on the Calculate

button and select the surface and the number is set to 12 Use the

default level 4

3.  Click OK and exit the “Mesh Size” dialog The calculated mesh size is

6.28 We can modify the size to 8
