PCU will be established within SOPAC
Provide technical support, coordination and a management function for implementation of the Pacific IWRM Project
Provide this in accordance with Rules and
Procedures of Implementing Agencies (IA’s) UNDP and UNEP and SOPAC as Executing Agency (EA)
Includes 4 positions - Regional Project
Manager, Environmental Engineer/Manager, Communications/Community Assessment and Participation and Financial Adviser

Provide technical support, coordination and a management function for implementation of country demonstration proposals
Support where required provided to regional component and each other
Provide this in accordance with Rules and
Procedures of country requirements and
SOPAC as Executing Agency (EA)

Identify training requirements of Project Team
Re-look at and refine National Project Team TOR’s according to individual demo needs (August – Sept 2008)
Assess the TOR’S against national public service levels (August-Sept 2008)
Re-look and confirm the lead focal agency as the correct national implementation agency
(August-Sept 2008)
