B - SPEAKING Objectives:

Students are able to speak about their hobbies such as collecting stamps…, speak how, why they are collecting them

Teaching aids:

- Pictures , real objects ( book, stamps ), textbooks, coloured chalks

Teaching technique: communicative approach

New lesson:

Warm – up

Teacher show some books ( novel, picture books, Doremon, Harry Porter ) and ask sts:

what are they?

What kind of books is it?

Do you like reading books in your free time?

What’s kind of books do you like?

Sts look at the books Answer the

Task 1: ( page 148) Ask sts :

Would you like to watch TV? Why?

Direct sts to do task 1 :

“ Work in pairs , ask your friend which of the hobbies mentioned in task 1 page 148 he/ she would like /not like to do and explain why.”

Teacher and one sts set an example:

Which of the hobbies would you like to do?

Watching TV I like it because I find it useful to watch TV I can get a lot of useful knowledge on TV

And which one wouldn’t you like to do?
