Aim: To help students learn and practice sub-skills of reading
Objectives: By the end of the lesson, the students will be able to:
- Explain the meaning in context
- Read the passage for comprehension
- Remember the main ideas of the passage
- Talk about their own hobbies

Game: Bingo!
Objective: to involve Ss in the lesson and lead in the
topic of the reading
- T asks Ss to close their book
- Ask Ss to take a piece of paper
- T gives the instructions to play game:
+ Ask Ss to list activities people often do in their spare time
+ Ss are asked to list as many as they can within 2 minutes
+ T shows in turn each kind of hobby and Ss will put
a tick (√) next to that word
+ The first student to tick all 5 words will shout
“Bingo!” and win the game
- T allows Ss to play game
