I Ojectives :

- By the end of the lesson, Ss will be able to :

* know some information about Viet Nam

* be proud of their country

* use “Yes/No questions” to ask and answer about Viet Nam

* develop their listening , reading and speaking skills

II Language content :

Vocabulary :

• A lot of = lots of : nhiều

• The Red : Sông Hồng

• Rain ( n ) : mưa

• Forest ( n ) : Rừng

• Desert ( n ) : sa mạc

• Beach ( n ) : bãi biển

Model sentences :

• Does Viet Nam have any ……….?

• Yes, it does/ No , it doesn’t

III Techniques :

• Listening , reading and speaking

• Pair- work.

• Picture drill

• Stereo, color chalk, text book and flash lamp

V.Procedures :

1 Warm up :

- Teacher ask Ss some questions :

* Where do you live ?

* Are there any mountains in Viet Nam ?

* Are there any lakes ?

* Are there any rivers ?

* Do you love Viet Nam ? Why or why not ?

2 New lesson :

Part 1 :

a Presentation :

• Ss are asked to look at the ten pictures and list the things which Viet Nam country have

• Teacher asks : Is Viet Nam a beautiful country ?

• According to us , Viet Nam is a beautiful country.How about Lan ? What does she think of Viet Nam ?Let’s begin unit 15 : Countries ; lesson C ( C1 , C2 ):

b Practice :

• Teacher supplies Ss some new words; they look at the pictures and guess the meaning s of the words

- A lot of = lots of : nhiều

- The Red : sông Hồng

- Rain ( n ) : mưa

- Green ( adj ) : xanh tươi

- Forest ( n ) : rừng

- Desert ( n ) : sa mạc

• The Ss are asked to read new words ( chorrally and individually )

• The teacher helps her Ss student remember new words by giving them the exercise

 Complete the sentences with correct words :

b Practice :

- Ss are asked to listen to the text twice Then they are asked to open the book and listen the text again

- Teacher calls three four students read the text aloud

- Ss are asked to look at the pictures and complete the passage with the correct words

- Ss are asked to read the completed text ( chorally and individually )

a Presentation :

- Teacher has Ss look at the seven pictures again and explains the requirement of

this exercise : Look at the pictures and make the questions to ask your friends if Viet Nam has things or not

b Practice :

- Ss look at the pictures and practice in pairs the structures “ Does Viet Nam have any ………? – Yes, it does/ no , it doesn’t “

c Production :

- Ss are asked to look at the pictures and tell their friends about Viet Nam country
