By the end of the lesson, Ss will be able to improve their listening skill through Ordering, Gap-filling and Answering questions exercises

I Warm up (7

minutes)

- Ask some questions:

1 Do you like to go for a picnic?

2 Do you go with your friends/ family?

3 Do you always go to the beach for a picnic?

4 Do you always go to the mountain for a picnic?

5 Who bring food with you when you go for a picnic?

minutes)

Vocabulary pre - teach

invitation

I Warm up (5

minutes)

II Pre-writing (7

- Explain the definition of request and confirmation letters:

Request is the letter that asks for information or

help

Confirmation is the letter that responds to the

request to confirm whether the help is provided

or the information is available or not

Task 1 - Finding requests and confirmation

- Ask Ss to work in pairs to read the two letters and find the request in Nga's letter and confirmation in Hoa's

- Tell Ss to underline the structure showing requests and confirmation

- Call on some Ss to explain their answers
