How do I compare photos in full-screen

view?

You can open multiple photos side by side in

full-screen view Other elements of the iPhoto

workspace are hidden Follow these steps:

1 -click to select the photos to compare

2 Click

iPhoto opens the photos together in

full-screen view

iPhoto closes the photo

5 Click Done to close all the photos.

iPhoto opens the photo with the

others

How do I adjust the color and lighting of

a photo when printing?

In the customize settings, click a photo

and then click Adjust A

tool appears enabling you

to make color and lighting adjustments before you print For more about adjusting color and lighting, see Chapter 5.

How do I print multiple copies of

the same photo on a page?

In the print settings, choose a print

size that displays multiple copies

on a page such as 3 x 5 on a US

Letter page In the customize

settings, click Settings Then in the

Photos Per Page menu, select

Multiple of the same photo per page

Your photo is arranged as multiple copies on the page,

which you can then print.

! Some layouts include caption text

Click the text to edit it

The caption text becomes editable

You can click Settings to change

the font style and size

# Click Print.

The photo prints

How do I select the e-mail program

to use with iPhoto?

You can select the e-mail program in

the iPhoto preferences.

1 Click iPhoto.

2 Click Preferences.

3 In the Preferences window, click

General.

4 Click here and select an e-mail

program

5 Click to close and save your

preferences

An e-mail message window opens

with the photo added

7 Type the e-mail address of the

recipient

8 Type a subject

9 Click Send ( )

Note: The commands may differ depending on the

e-mail program.

The e-mail message and photo

are sent

What features can viewers access in a MobileMe gallery?

When you create a MobileMe gallery in iPhoto, you can enable various features Viewers can access the features by clicking links on the gallery Web page:

● Download gallery photos as a

ZIP file

● Subscribe to the RSS feed of the

gallery to keep track of new

photos

● Upload photos to the gallery

● Add to the gallery via e-mail

● Send invitations to others about

the gallery

iPhoto uploads the photos

9 Click the Web address of the

gallery to view it online

The advanced settings appear

● You can hide the gallery on your

main MobileMe gallery page

● If you allow downloading, you can

select a quality

How do I view my shared Facebook photos from iPhoto?

When you upload photos to Facebook, iPhoto creates a new Facebook photo album in the source list Follow these steps to view the

photos online:

1 In the source list, click the name of

the Facebook album

The album photos appear

2 Click the Facebook Web address

button for the album

A Web browser opens to display

the photos

9 Select who can see your photos

To access the photos, users also

need to have Facebook accounts

0 Click Publish.

iPhoto uploads the photos to your

Facebook account

An Allow Access dialog appears

For iPhoto and other applications

to interact with Facebook, you

must allow them access to your

account information

7 Click Allow.

8 In the confirmation dialog that

follows, click Close.

on the photos.

and a Flickr account.
