This stan ard is not con erned with the safety asp cts of dosimeters The relevant IEC

stan ard coverin safety de en up n the way in whic the dosimeter is u ed:

– if it is u ed in the PATIENT en ironment, the req irements for safety a plyin to dosimeters

with IONIZATION C AMB RS as u ed in R DIOTHER PY are contained in IEC 6 6 1-1;

– if it is not u ed in the PATIENT en ironment, then the safety req irements for dosimeters

with IONIZATION C AMB RS as u ed in R DIOTHER PY are contained in IEC 61010-1

Dosimeters whic comply with this stan ard s ould nevertheles b u ed in ac ordan e with

the relevant national or international dosimetry protocol (code of practice) In p rtic lar,
