4.3.1 Photometr ic requirements

4.4 Stop lamp

4.4.1 Photometric r equirements

The minimum int ensity measur d on the r fe enc a is at p int H = V = 0 ° of a st op lamp shal be the

highes of the folowing two v lues, as a pro riat e:

— 40 cd min;

— w he e a st op lamp function is pro ided b a r ar lamp, at leas f ive times the gr at es measura le

int ensity of the r ar lamp

The gr at es measura le int ensity of the st op lamp shal not ex ce d 1 5 cd

Light shal be emitt ed from a st op lamp throughout a zone defined as folow s with r spe t t o dir ction

4.6.3 Additional requirements

The lamp shal be eq ip ed with a devic which ensur s that the use can modify the l ght dis ribution from

high beam to low beam an vic ve sa with jus one mo ement so that it me t the r lev ant r q ir ment

An a pro riat e trigg ering me hanism /devic can be ins aled sep rately from the lamp it elf

If the lght sour e of the low beam lamp is dife ent from the l ght sour e of the high beam lamp but

incorporat ed int o thesame casing, the p int HV of b th lght sour es mus be identical

4.7 Direction indicator

4.7.1 Photometr ic requirements
