The tes method spe if ied can also be used for the as es ment of the degr e of chalking of co tings

an co ting sys ems on smo th surfac s, but he method spe if ied in ISO 46 8-6:2 1 is pr fe a le for

this purpose

The tes method is a plca le to co tings and co ting sys ems on mine al subs rates, e.g f ibr c ment,

brick, conc ete, an r n e ings, in epen ent of the s ructur of the surfac The method can be used

q ite efe tively by ex e ienc d o e ators and is r commen ed for la oratory use as wel as for

on-site ev luation
