Trang 3Undoubtedly, internships are important for students because they allow them togain a wealth of knowledge and practice soft skills in a real workplace setting.Because of the increased demand for global exchange and intergration, English isbeing used more and more widely Many universities, in particular, have madeEnglish certifications such as IELTS, TOEIC, and others mandatory because they candemonstrate proficiency in the use of language Some students attempt to obtain thesecertifications as part of their school's requirement prior to graduation, while othersstudy abroad Furthermore, English certification is a powerful tool for people lookingfor a good job with a high salary That is why people are more likely to enroll inadditional English classes ZIM Academy school, a renowned English centerspecializing in English certification training and a platinum partner of the BritishCouncil, was formed in order to address this need and the aim to develop Englishproficiency among Vietnamese people This is the reason I decided to conduct aninternship with this business as an English consultant Onboarding the organizationprovided me with the chance to improve my future résumé in addition to acquiringpractical working skills to be applied

The reason for undertaking an internship as a consultant at an English center was
to gain practical experience in the field of consulting and to acquire an understanding
of the education industry The objective was to delve deeper into the variouschallenges faced by language centers and to learn effective solutions to thosechallenges
During the internship, the consultant had the opportunity to work closely withexperienced consultants and observe their problem-solving approach Variousconsulting frameworks and methodologies were applied to real-life cases, deepeningthe understanding of the field Effective communication skills were also developed, aswell as the ability to present ideas and recommendations Moreover, the dynamic andfast-paced work environment at the English center challenged the consultant toimprove time-management and decision-making skills, as well as the ability to workeffectively in a team setting These skills will be of great benefit in the futurecareer.The insights gained and skills honed will enable a meaningful contribution tothe field of consulting, particularly within the education industry
2 Internship Objectives
The primary objective of the internship as an English consultant is to enhancelanguage proficiency, develop professional communication skills, gain practicalexperience in language consulting, and to analyze the effectiveness of languageteaching methodologies Through the internship, students have the opportunity toimmerse themselves in a real-world work environment, where they can not only gaininsight into the demands of their chosen profession, but also assess their own skillsand areas for improvement

65 Yen Lang, Trung Liet Ward, Dong Da District, Hanoi It was organized andoperated under the model of a joint stock company, the shareholders of the Companydecided to choose the main business line to focus on educational activities, startingwith the model of English certification exam preparation Accordingly, the Englishtraining at the Company is committed to the output, ensuring the teaching according tothe focused personalized learning method, the basic to advanced grammar knowledgesystem, saving 80% of the time for students
Eduvator is a company that manages and operates the ZIM English languagetraining system It specializes in IELTS examination preparation and production ofIELTS preparation materials The company's teacher team is required to have aminimum IELTS score of 7.5 and the majority of the teachers (80%) have scoresranging from 8.0 to 8.5 In addition to teaching, the teachers receive training inteaching skills and are required to participate in various professional developmentactivities such as mock tests, writing exercises, and IELTS re-examination Thiscontinuous improvement process ensures high-quality teaching
In the past seven years, ZIM has rapidly developed and expanded its systemfrom one to twelve branches throughout the country, with four branches in Hanoi,seven in Ho Chi Minh City, and one in Danang The number of students who took andpassed the IELTS has reached 5,000 One of the significant milestones in thecompany's history is its partnership with the British Council in August 2017, where itbecame a silver partner of the international organization dedicated to cultural andeducational cooperation with the United Kingdom

interns): market research, finding potential customer targets, planning and conductingpromotions, attracting online and offline students, meeting partners, representing thecompany at various events
The Finance and Accounting department (1 department head, 2 employees) is
responsible for advising the director, giving guidance, managing and operating thefinancial and accounting operations; promoting financial mobilization and managingfinancial investment activities; monitoring salary, bonus, and other income andexpenditure activities in accordance with the company's policies and regulations foremployees; and settling operational expenses, advertising costs, and other expenses ofthe company
The Training department (1 director, 2 department heads, 40 Vietnamese
teachers, and 02 foreign teachers) includes: The academic director is responsible fordeveloping teaching plans and creating textbooks for each class for teachers to designlessons according to the curriculum Teachers are in charge of teaching, monitoringand interacting with students, and regularly supporting supplementary classes underthe guidance of the Head Teacher, and supporting the business department to checkinputs and plan appropriate courses The assigned team of teachers is responsible forwriting books under the guidance of the Academic Director and the Head Teacher,ensuring progress and quality of books sold
Admin Department (02 academic admins, 02 service admins): Academic
admins are responsible for scheduling class schedules, coordinating teachers for eachclass, making budget plans for each facility, purchasing necessary supplies at the

- HR Manager: Ensures effective recruitment of personnel and personnelsupply to meet company needs, develops the staff of employees according to companyrequirements
- Operation Manager: Ensures individuals and departments within thecompany perform their duties and tasks effectively and efficiently, avoiding overlap oftasks between departments, assigns responsibilities and tasks

For over seven years since its establishment in 2016, ZIM Academy has beenconstantly enhancing its English teaching standards and professional learningenvironment, enabling its students to attain the highest certifications possible As aneducational company, it places a high emphasis on prestige and quality
The English courses offered by ZIM Academy are marketed to clients throughconsultants and sales representatives, as well as through various channels such as theacademy's website, advertisements on social media such as Facebook, Zalo and so on.This extensive marketing strategy has resulted in a steady increase in enrollment overthe years, despite the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, leading to a continuedgrowth in revenue for the business
