In the context of international integration, there has many advantage todevelop for many industry factor Construction Industry is one of most boomingindustries in the whole world, especially in the develop countries This industry ismainly an urban based one which is concerned with preparation as well asconstruction of real estate properties Vietnam is one of the larger and more denselypopulated countries in the region Confirmed population figures are hard to obtain,but an estimate puts the Vietnam population in 2018 at 96.49 million, up from the

2012 estimate of 91.5 million and this figure would make the country the 14th mostpopulous on the planet In comparison, Vietnam has a small surface area, and at331,210 square kilometres (128,565 square miles), this is only the world’s 65thlargest in terms of land mass alone.Those two sets of figures would suggest adensely populated landscape and that is the case to an extent For every squarekilometre of land, there is an average of 280.6 people That number converts to 723per square mile and overall, this becomes the 46th most densely populated country

on earth And this make a problem for people in Vietnam, they have to be intelligent

of management and construction of dwelling-house and public works

to maximize the resources, to satisfy customer's demand

Being recommended and allowed by English Department – VietnamUniversity of Commerce, I have gratefully experienced as an intern in SalesDepartment of HHK Joint Stock Company After one month (from 02/01/2018

to 30/01/2018), under the valuable support and instruction of managers and colleges

in the company, I was able to apply the knowledge obtained at university intopractice, meanwhile collecting basic information to complete the internship report

In the process of working, HHK Stock Joint Company applied the knowledge,wisdom and scientific and technological advances of the country and the world toachieve the optimal value, meeting the demands of the investor and society

 Project consultancy, project management consultancy, constructionsupervision consultancy: HHK SJC will assess the current condition of the projectimplementation and understand the project implementation process to draw up aschedule of project management and control They will evaluate of changes related

to design, construction, procurement of materials, equipments, labor safety,environmental sanitation and fire prevention, check and take over the buildings,pass buildings and train operation They will propose appropriate measures to theowner to ensure that the changes do not affect the safety, quality and progress of theproject

1.2 Overview of Sales Department

1.2.1 Functions and duties of Sales Department

Sales Department has functions which is advising and assisting the company'sleaders in some areas:

- Searching for partners and customers

- Executing customer service activities: receiving and resolving complaints

and inquiries of customers about products; Executing customer care

- Drafting contracts in accordance with regulations Drafting contracts inEnglish for foreign clients

- Implementating of paperworks which relate to the company's products andservices

- Executing tasks which are required by leaders of company

- Drafting and saving documents which relate to Sales Department

- Scheduling plans, business strategies in month/ quarter/ year

- Planning out purchase of equipment and machinery for production andbusiness activities

- Regularly reporting on strategic situation, alternative projects and methods tocooperate with clients

- Researching on the market, competitors.

- Developing a PR strategy, marketing products for each stage and customers

- Building brand development strategy

1.2.2 Evaluation the operation of the Sales Department

The first biggest strength is that the specialized construction works in the past

9 years are quite stable

Moreover, HHK JSC possesses a well-trained team with great ability to applylatest technologies into production and management One of the biggest advantages

of HHK JSC is probably the staffs that is diligent and dedicated to works

HHK JSC often gives amendments to internal management regulations inorder to reduce risks, avoid losses, minimize operating costs and ensure the staff’sbenefits

During its 9-year development, HHK JSC has obtained a lot of experiences in projects which relate to specialized construction, constructions such as building the infrastructure of the new urban area Hop Chau, building urban and industrial area,

Tu Minh, Hai Duong,

However, it is necessary to frankly admit that there are also some obstaclesthat badly affect the company’s business efficiency

Firstly, it is the staff of morale Sales Department does not encourage

employees to emulate competitive results

Secondly, the data management program is outdated It is difficult to manage the data of customers and project informations

Finally, the time of completing paperwork is still slower than the plan This also affects the quality of work and the customer's assessment

COMPANY

Being recommended and allowed by English Department – VietnamUniversity of Commerce, I have gratefully experienced as an intern in SalesDepartment of HHK Joint Stock Company After one month (from 02/01/2018 to30/01/2018), under the valuable support and instruction of managers and colleges inthe company, I was able to apply the knowledge obtained at university into practice,meanwhile collecting basic information to complete the internship report

2.1 My assignment in my internship in HHK Joint Stock Company

During the internship in HHK JSC's Sales Department, I was assigned by my former employees and my leader This relates to my major which I had studied at

my university I think that this is a rewarding experience for my future job

Since Sales Department had the function of advising the leaders of thecompany and doing business which relates administrative work and contacting withclients, drafting contracts, I was assigned tasks which related to this area by themanager Main tasks include: contacting with foreign partners and customers;drafting and saving contracts, documents which relate to the work of the salesdepartment; resolving customer complaints Each assignment was given by thebusiness manager and my colleagues helped me to complete the assignment

 Contacting with foreign partners and customers

This task relates to searching and contacting potential customers HHK JointStock Company directly executes business activities which relates to the field ofspecialized construction, business, consultancy services in the field of constructionand architecture They have cooperation with foreign partners In projects, contactingwith foreign partners is very important The informations that I collected bycontacting partners or customers help the Project Department accomplish the work

 Drafting and saving contracts

For contracts of foreign clients, the English contracts is very important Itshould be close In my internship, I was assigned to support Ms Do Thanh Lam todraft two contracts which related to the interior design of the Singapore customers

Based on previous contracts, I drafted a preliminary contract that was evaluated andedited by Ms Ha

In addition, I was also assigned to archive documents which related to the field

of specialized construction

 Resolving customer complaints

During the implementation of business contracts, it was difficult to avoidmistakes There were questions and complaints from customers Acceptance ofcomplaints, questions and grievances was very important Complaints related to to thefield of specialized construction These complaints and inquiries were received and mytask is selecting and sending to suitable department to give the most appropriatesolution After receiving the resolution, you contacted the customer again

2.2 Difficulties and experiences of my internship in HHK JSC

2.2.1 Difficulties of my internship in HHK JSC

When I was working in HHK JSC, sometimes I also encountered difficulties The first is about administrative work The working environment at thecompany is completely different from the school environment Everyone is seriousand careful to achieve the highest work efficiency Only a small error will causecertain consequences Therefore, work needs to be highly focused

During the translation process, there were special words that were particularlydifficult to translate and cannot find out the equivalents They were architecturalengineering of words

The lessons and the knowledge which I learned at school gave me a lot ofbenefits But reality and the knowledge of books had a big gap The application ofknowledge was not easy Because I did not have any experience working in thisfield before, the application of knowledge I learned to work was difficult

Finally, because of the lack of training time, I did not have a deepunderstanding of Sales Department's tasks and meet 100% of the company'srequirements

2.2.2 Experiences learned from my internship
