Plate mounted horizontal pump

CONSTRUCTION

The pumps of series NCB are single stage centrifugal pumps with horizontal axis and

overhang impeller hydraulically balanced, spiral body with axial suction and radial delivery

upwards The bearings are prelubricated with grease or in oil bath according to the

performances and uses

Standard parts enable a better selection of the sqare parts With this modular system only 3

sizes of support are foreseen for 30 models of pumps The anchorage to the base plate,

made through the feet of the pump body, along with the coupling if it is the type with spacer,

enable an easy disassemblying of the complete rotor without modifying the alignment of the

group and without disconnecting pipes and motor The standard construction is with flanges

CONSTRUCTIVE VARIATIONS

In oder to better satisfy the various necessities of services, the following constructive

variations are forseen:

1) Cooling at the stuffing box in order to cool the seal

2) Reinforced support, when the working conditions stress particularly the bearings

3) Oiler at constant level on request

FIELDS OF DUTY

These pumps are used for fire water supply, both for civil and industrial purposes

SEALS

Standard mechanical seal according to DIN 24960 (ISO 3069) with interchangable seat for

packing seal But it is also possible to install any other type of seal The lubrication of the seal

in normal working conditions is provided inside the pump but it is possible ta make any line of

lubrication to the seal

CONSTRUCTIVE METERIAL

Standard construction in cast iron G 25 UNI 5007 On request it is possible to have other

constructive metallurgies

PERFORMANCE DATA

Q up to 400m3/H

H up to 95m

Temp of the pumped liquid from – 15oC to + 120oC

TOLERANCES

The operating characteristics are guaranteed according to standards UNI/ISO 2548 class C
