andTrustCompany, Reading, Pennsylvania, apredecessortoMeridian Bank,

whereheservedaschiefauditor, branch administrator, creditadministratorand

thendivisionpresidentforthe Philadelphia region Upon MeridianBank's

mergerwith CoreStates Bankin 1996,Mr McGloinservedinvariouslendingcapacities, andultimatelyasthechiefriskpolicyofficer. Later,when CoreStates

merged into FirstUnion,Mr.McGloin becameamanagingdirectorintheCapitalMarkets Group. Inthispost, hehadresponsibility forallcreditdecisionsfortheCapitalMarkets Groupin Philadelphia

In2001, Mr McGloin joinedNationalPennBank, Boyertown,Pennsylvania,

asdivision president, bringinghisvastexperienceandardent dedicationtocustomerservice.In2003, hewas promotedtochieflendingofficer,leading the

BankingServicesGroup.Inthis, hispresentpost,heoverseesthecommerciallendingfunctionforcorporatereal estate, manufacturingandinternational

bankinggroups, andallareasofthebankthathavedirectcustomercontact

theHarvardMedical School, Dr Cooper becamechiefof hematology-oncology

An avidresearcher, Dr Cooperhas publishedmorethan 130scientificpapers

andreviews, initiallydealingwithsubjects in hematology, butforthe past twelveyears, focusingonhealth policyandthe health careworkforce Hehas developed

modelsforprojecting the futuredemandforphysicians, mostimportantlythe

"TrendModel," whichis builtaroundlong-termeconomic and demographic

trends.Andhehas championedthenotionofanimpendingphysician shortage

basedon thismodel Healsohas brought understandingtothe interrelationships

amongphysiciansandvarious non-physicianclinician disciplines

Dr Cooperserveson numerousnationaladvisorycommitteesformedical
