Description

Lutheran Northwest is a Christian co-educational college preparatory high school,

grades 9-12, located in Rochester Hills, Michigan Since 1978, Lutheran Northwest

has offered a tradition of quality educational programs, an excellent faculty, and

abundant student leadership opportunities

Curriculum

The academic program is a college-prep curriculum organized on a semester based

8 period daily schedule All students take 7 or 8 credits per year Class periods meet

for 45 minutes each day

AP courses are offered in Biology, Calculus, English Language, English Literature,

Government, Physics, Psychology and U.S History

Honors classes are offered in Advanced Algebra, Anatomy & Physiology,

Chemistry, English 10, Physics, and U.S History

The ranking is based on the weighted cumulative GPA Honors courses will

be weighted an additional 0.5 (i.e A is worth 4.5, a B is worth 3.5, etc.), and

Advanced Placement courses will be weighted an additional 1.0
