D-STEM Choose Ohio First Scholarship Program Graduate Initial Licensure Program Master of Urban Secondary Teaching Program (MUST)

Deadline for Applications: Fall Semester- August 6, 2010

The Cleveland State University Choose Ohio First Graduate Initial Licensure Program will provide up to

$3,000 for the summer portion of the program, and up to an additional $4,700 in the fall and spring parts

of the program for MUST students pursuing mathematics licensure or any science licensure

Required Eligibility and Requirements for D-STEM Choose Ohio First Scholarship

Participants must:

 Be accepted in the Master of Urban Secondary Teaching Program (MUST)

 Not be a recipient of a graduate assistantship, grant-in-aid, or other financial support (other than loans) that support the cost of tuition

 Participate in all activities, trips, meetings and events sponsored by Choose Ohio First teacher preparation program and make progress toward an academic degree

 Must maintain a minimum a 3.00 graduate GPA

 Be an Ohio resident

 Have a completed FAFSA on file

 Be registered for all their classes by the application deadline

Information about this Scholarship:

 The maximum award is half the cost of tuition per semester, up to $4,700 total for the fall and spring semesters

 It is not a need-based scholarship, but a current FAFSA is required for processing

 This scholarship is applicable to tuition only and if you have taken out loans to pay for your tuition, your loan amount will be reduced by the amount of your scholarship award

 You can be a student worker at CSU and receive this scholarship

 CSU faculty or staff members and their family members who are eligible for other tuition credits

and benefits are not eligible for this scholarship.
