Ryley will be working with National APSE & State Chapters in various ways:
Participate and represent APSE membership in public policy related meetings in Washington,
DC
Coordinate the public policy and advocacy efforts nationally and within states
Publicize efforts within states for letter-writing, calling, or contacting appropriate legislators
or other parties regarding Employment First initiatives and other employment related issues
Coordinate meetings and facilitate activities with state Public Policy Liaisons
Provide Public Policy updates on a regular basis to state chapters
Assist State Chapters with public policy issues and Employment First initiatives
Assist State Chapters with Financial Reporting and 990 completion

Macey will be working with state chapters in the following ways:
Monitor chapter activities regarding compliance with bylaws
Connect University programs with state chapter leaders
Work with chapter leaders to promote Employment First within their own organizations and their states
Assist state chapters in implementing a structure for connecting with members across states (e.g., creating sell sheets and other membership materials, create regions within states for member and board member recruitment, assisting with conferences, newsletters, facebook page)
Update chapter information on website
Conduct annual chapter president survey
Work to develop chapters in states with no current chapter
Assist chapters with elections (as needed)
Conduct bi-monthly webinars with Chapter leadership (e.g., provide updates on national information, identify needs of chapters, updates on what is happening in states in
collaboration with Public Policy Liaisons, webinar training for chapter presidents on how to

Delegates: The Delegates are 5 APSE leaders whose roles include:
Ensure that state chapters are “heard” by the national organization;
Ensure state chapters receive timely and accurate information from the national
organization;
Enhance the feeling of being part of a network of states belonging to an organization
larger than each individual state;
Facilitate Chapters being connected to other Chapters to share and learn;
Provide or secure technical assistance to help the state Chapter achieve their goals;
Facilitate join ventures between states within a region to promote Chapter, as well as
national APSE goals
Your Delegate will be contacting you (if they have not already) to introduce themselves and to start planning quarterly calls within your region
