During operation, some common problems may occur such as:
power failure, phase loss, voltage drop, overvoltage, phase difference, phase imbalance, noise on the line,

When there is a power outage on the grid, special loads will require an alternate
backup power source.
An automatic power transfer device, also known as ATS (Automatic
Transfer Switch) is used to automatically transfer the load from the main
power source to the backup source when the main source fails and vice
versa when the main power is restored or switched intentionally.
What is an ATS system?

ATS structure with main grid – 2 backup
generators
This construction allows two generators to work
alternately or in parallel, resulting in higher power
generation efficiency and longer traction motor life.

The following requirements must be followed during operation: :
Only startup one to three times each power outage.
After the engine has successfully operated for 5 to 7 seconds,
the starter must be turned off.
Before putting oil into the combustion chamber of an engine,
it must be dried.
When stopping, you'll need some time to cool off.
It is vital to avoid repeated beginning when the mains voltage
fluctuates or the grid voltage flickers

CONCLUSION
The results of the performed test ensure the ATS-design’s functioning and compliance with requirements and
constraints
Our design is appropriate for the subject of Project II and at
a cheaper cost
FUTURE WORK
In future work, we will broaden our approach
by incorporating additional features such as display and monitoring on the webserver or the HMI.
