or disagree?
In recent years, it has become far more common to witness the fact that the multiculturalism community becomes ubiquitous world-widely, in which there is a blend of various non-native folks Yet, there remains some disagreement as to whether the overall effect of this propensity has been positive or negative While there are certainly valid arguments to the tendency, it is my personal belief that this trend could have both positive and negative consequences in equal measure
On the one hand, it is an undeniable fact that the multi-cultural society could
be seen as favourable for the following reasons To begin with, multiculturalisms can attract tourists to many culturally featured places by using different art forms, diversity of gastronomy, and new languages from various nationalities That also helps boost the country's economy and increase more job opportunities for people For instance, the 54 ethnic groups in Vietnam have attracted millions of visitors per annum, reported by a recent survey Additionally, living with people from diverse region will enable us to become more understanding and tolerant It leads to
building more open-mind societies which are based on respect and preserving different cultural identities As a result, they can access different customs and beliefs in different cultures easily
On the other hand, this trend could also be viewed as unfavourable First of all, ethnic minorities or migrants find it difficult to adjust, adapt to and can not
assimilate into the culture of other ethnic groups Consequently, that will lead to some problems in life and cause conflicts between ethnic groups For example, if people do not know the local language, it is more difficult for them to become a part of the community and expand their view of the world Second, specific sorts
of criminal cases have been on a rise in multicultural countries Because of a lack
of education, lack of contact with the outside community, and poorer-wealthier group gaps based on ethnicities are becoming more deteriorated For example, in New York, some ignorant ethnic groups may have thought that they are superior to others, and as a result, they misjudge others from various cultural and religious backgrounds and perpetrate hate crimes

multicultural environment can have both favorable qualities and detrimental effects
on individuals and on the society
