On 23rd December 2011, The Informatics and Foreign Languages Centerwas established and is currently located at 9 Nguyen Thi Minh Khai Street, Xuan
An Ward, Long Khanh City, Dong Nai Province The Informatics and ForeignLanguages Center was one of the influential centers of those years
After five years of operating, The Informatics and Foreign LanguagesCenter has developed the second foundation It is Xuyen A English Center whichwas established in September 2016 and is currently located at 39 Pham Lac Street,Xuan Thanh Ward, Long Khanh City, Dong Nai Province
From the early days of its establishment, the Center only attracted a fewstudents nearby Up to date, Xuyen A Center currently has about 300 students whilethe total number of students of both foundations is more than 1000

I was accepted into the position of Admissions Intern The Director assigned
me to the Sales & Marketing Department After 2 months of working and observing
in this department, I have understood the specific functions of this department.Sales & Marketing Department is responsible for researching all issues related tothe market, making customers aware of their products, and stimulating theirpurchasing needs, and developing the brand for the business Moreover, the Sales &Marketing Manager will be in charge of advising the Director on issues related tothe sale of the company's products and services to the market; consulting on productresearch and development; expanding market; building relationships withcustomers, and bringing in revenue for the company

I was responsible for supporting the Sales Assistant to counsel new studentsand hit the enrollment target To implement enrollment consulting campaigns andpromotions, report on results, and take care of students Moreover, I had alsoassisted the Marketing Assistant with social media management, communicationswith customers
That period helped me accumulate a lot of real experience which I rarelylearn from the university, improved the skills learned in real work Through that, Ifound the methods to work logically and effectively, improve the effective laborproductivity of the Center

2.1Admissions Internship
2.1.1 Roles of the Admissions Internship position
It is believed that the Admissions Interns are the right-hand of Sales andMarketing Department They have a great contribution to the number of coursessold and directly generate revenue for the business, organization The interns areresponsible for finding potential students, providing all information related to thecourse for those who are interested, and following up and supporting studentsthroughout the learning process As well as informing the result to Manager.Moreover, they also support the Marketing Team to implement marketingstrategy development
2.1.2 Responsibilities of the Admissions Internship
The Admissions Intern tasks span many fields, including management, marketing strategy, human resources, etc Specific duties may be different, but the basic responsibilities of the Admissions Intern are:
a Counsel students about the course programs, admission procedure, and costs involved.
b Make registration procedures for new students and follow up with students throughout the learning process through the learning management system.
c Provide clarifications to student’s questions and handle the customer's feedback, complaints in a professional manner.
d Provide support to the Marketing Assistant to develop the marketing strategy based on experience and feedback of customers.
2.2 Specific Internship Activities

Trang 13Due to the impact of the COVID pandemic, the Director decided toassign me to work from home at the first set-out and be supervised bySales & Marketing Department During 8 weeks, my instructor at theCenter gave me tasks via messages on the first days of the week When Ifinished, I would inform my instructor immediately and received feedbackabout tasks. The specific tasks I have to do at home include the following:
Counseling on phone:
This is currently the most effective way to sales chosen by anybusiness due to the pandemic status Through training, I learned how tobecome a professional in telephone sales Based on the script samplescompiled by the Center, I would build similar scripts to improve mychances of success It is believed that there are many ways to win thehearts of customers through a phone call The initial greeting will leavethe first impression on the customers I would send a strong greeting tokeep the customers engaged in the conversation, then introduce the nameand department This can show customers who they are talking to Afterthat, I would ask questions about their name, background information sothey felt more respected I would like to go straight to introduce the courseand the Center's special promotions, listen and answer their questions.One of the important points is avoiding talking around, using boring anddisrespectful tones to customers
This crucial and challenging task helped me be patient and improve
my communication and persuasion skills
Implementation of the student enrollment process:
The first step of the process is confirming all student informationand conducting the entrance test All students are required to take an
Trang 14After scoring the test, I would write an email to inform the testresults to the students and provide class information that matches thestudent's results When students decided to study, I would begin to inputstudent information into the Center's learning management system Aswell as providing a financial manager's account for students to pay theirtuition online Finally, I would be responsible for monitoring the learningprocess of students at the Center.
This assignment helped me improve my organizational skills andlearn how to arrange everything logically and effectively
Guided new students to install and use online learning software:
Online learning is the optimal solution for the current difficultpandemic status The Center has deployed online teaching as soon as thepandemic broke out and citizens had to implemented Prime Minister'sDirective 16 Because of the specific age of students, the Center supportsovercoming difficulties by guiding students to use online learningsoftware Therefore, I was assigned to instruct students to use proficientlyZoom software in order to make the lesson go smoothly I had planned themeeting; chose an appropriate time and emailed all students attending themeeting Finally, sending the recording of this meeting for students tofollow
This assignment supported me improve my computer skills andpublic speaking skills which could bring a lot of benefits to my futurecareer I have known that the enterprises will prioritize and appreciatepeople who have good communication skills and computer skills
Supported Marketing Assistant to manage social media accounts:
It is fact that one of the effective media strategies is to alwaysupdate trends, regularly interact on fanpage to create closeness withcustomers Post at least once a day, the content of the post is related to thecourse or an attractive promotion content at an appropriate time (11 AM to01:PM) or (07 PM to 09 PM) The content can be in the form of articles,

Trang 15information with images, or videos, etc I also regularly checked messagesand comments to reply and counsel in a timely manner.
While assisting the Marketing Team, I learned how to plan anddesign appealing content And I had the opportunity to enhance myresearch skills and creative thinking, use the software more proficiently
Received feedback and deal with requests and complaints:
This is one of the important tasks I have been entrusted with When
a customer wanted to give feedback or make a complaint about the quality
of the teacher's teaching or the content of the lesson, I would beresponsible for noting the causes, main points that they mentioned.Listening carefully and apologizing sincerely for the inconvenience thatcustomers experience and saying that I would call back and give themsatisfactory results Then contacted the relevant department to find out theproblem and solve the issues Finally, called back the customer to offer agentle solution and promise to improve service quality
I had to thank the instructor for assigning me this difficult taskwhich gave me the opportunity to improve my problem-solving skills andbehaviors Knowing how to deal with customers and make them satisfied
