I Class description:
The class includes 25 girls and 15 boys Most of them are quite good at English, but someone is lazy and naughty As for scheduling, class will meet three times a week for
45 minutes each Our classroom will be equipped with a computer, internet, projector and black board
II Objectives:
By the end of this lesson, Ss will be able to:
- Use lexical items related to the topic ‘Pollution’ to talk about types of pollution
- Use words and phrases showing cause/ effect relationships to describe the causes and effects of pollution
- Talk about the causes and effects of water pollution as well as ways to reduce it
III Time: About 45 minutes
IV Teaching aids: computer, internet, projector, speaker, video, black board,…
V Anticipate problems:
- Ss might be weaker than T’s expected and therefore the reading text will be too difficult
- Ss might be get stuck with some new words while reading the text and therefore
be unable to find answers to detailed questions
- Ss might not understand T’s instructions
