1.simple present tense of “ To Be”

Note : Is not = isn’t Are not = aren’t

7 Hỏi số lượng:

Ex: How many students are there in your class? There are forty – one

a Affirmative form:

There is + a/an + sing- noun ( có một…………)

There are + plural noun ( có nhiều……… )

Ex: There is a book on the desk

b.Negative

There is not + a/an + sing- noun ( không có một…………) There are not + plural noun (không có nhiều……… )

c Yes/ No question:

8.Plural form of noun(dạng số nhiều của danh từ)

a Qui tắc chung:

* Số nhiều của This  these

Số nhiều của That  those

* Ta thêm “ s/ es” phía sau danh từ khi chuyển sang số nhiều

- Thêm “ es” sau các danh từ tận cùng ( sh,s ,ch, x, z , )

b Các trường hợp ngoại lệ:

* Nếu trước “ o” là một nguyên âm ta thêm “s”

Ex: bamboo  bamboos

* Nếu trước “ o” là một phụ âm ta thêm “es”

Ex: potato  potatoes

* Nếu trước “ y” là một nguyên âm ta thêm “s”

Ex: a key keys

* Nếu trước “ y” là một phụ âm ta đổi y  i rồi thêm “es”
