1 Purpose / Target:
This test is with effect enamels the only possibility to judge the parameters For the remaining coatings it serves for the check of the measured values
2 Description of the procedure:
2.1) Testing sets:
RAL - card
Reference sample
2.2) Execution
The test sheet metal must be cleaned with recognizable pollution before the measurement with a soft cloth With powder coatings the color evaluation on a non-chromated aluminum plates takes place
The sample which can be evaluated is compared with the reference samples under a daylight-lamp under different angles
2.3) Analysis
The color must correspond with that of the reference sample (e.g RAL card)
The gloss degree must be situated within the defined area
The other impression of the surface must correspond with the reference sample
2.4) Release guidelines
If fulfilled the request, then the product is to be released regarding this check If the requests weren’t fulfilled, then the product (whole load) is to be locked provisionally to submit and to the QA for evaluation (in co-operation with the responsible laboratory)
