a Aims:

- To help ssunderstand the conversation and complete the exercises

- Revise vocabulary about “sports and games” and use the combinations: go/ play/ do + N/ Ving

b Contents:

Task 1:

a Answer some questions about the conversation

b Find some expressions and check the meaning some expressions in the conversation

c Make the dialogue with the expressions

Task 2: Listen and repeat these words and phrases

Task 4: Put the words in correct groups

1 Activity 1: Warm – up (5’)

* Bingo:

a Aims: Helping Ss revise the vocabulary in the last period and lead Ss to the new lesson

b Contents: Ss draw a table of 9 squares and write 9 words about sports or games

a Aims: Help Ss know new words about sports and games and pronounce these words correctly

c Outcome: Ss know the meaning of some vocab and pronounce these words correcly

- goggle (n) ['gɔgl]: kính bơi, kính bảo hộ

1 Activity 1: Warm – up (5’):

a Aims: to raise Ss’ interest on what they are going to learn

b Contents: match infinitive verbs with their past simple

a Aims: Help Ss revise the use and form of the past simple tense and how to use the

imperatives

b Contents:

1 Past simple tense

-When do we use the past simple?

-How do we form the past simple in positive sentences? in negative sentences? and in questions and short answers?

- What about regular and irregular verbs?

2 Imperatives

1 Past simple tense

a Use: We use the past simple tense to talk about a finished action in the past We often say

*Questions and short answers:

Did + |I /you/we/they/he/she/it + V+…?

Yes, I/you/we/they/he/she/it + did

No, I/you/we/they/he/she/it + didn't

2 Imperatives

You use imperatives to tell someone to do something or to give a direct order

Positive: V!

Negative: Don’t + V!

Ex: Keep silent!

Don’t talk in class!
