LESSON 3: WHAT DO YOU DO WHEN ….? (A4)

Aims: To give the students time to practice listening and speaking skills.

Objectives: By the end of the lesson the students will be able to use the structure to ask and answer

about thing that one does with a specific weather

Skills: reading, speaking writing

Teaching aids: book, poster, tape, stereo.

I WARMER: Competition game

Write the verbs have been learnt

10’ II PRE-READING:

1 Set the scene :

We are going to talk about thing that one does in a specific weather

2 Structure :

Model sentences:

A: What do you do when it’s hot?

B: I go swimming when it’s hot

A: What does he do when it’s cold?

B: He goes jogging when it’s cold

Form:

Question What + do/ does + S + do + when it’s + adj?

Answer S + V + when it’s + adj

Use:

To ask and answer about thing that one does in a specific weather
