Aims: To give the students some words of description people and the simple present tense to talk

about the general truths

Objectives: By the end of the lesson the students will be able to describe people and use the simple

present to talk about the general truths

Teaching aids: pictures of people, poster

Grammar: “He is short and slim and has short black hair.”

Vocabulary: slim, slender, curly, bald, dark, blonde, fair, fair complexion, straight

1 Pre-teach vocabulary :

- slim /slim/ = thin /in/ = slender /'slend/

(adj): ốm, mãnh mai, gay

- curly /'kli/ (adj): xoăn, quăn

- bald /bld/ (adj): trọc, đầu trọc

- dark /dk/ = black /blk/ (adj): đen, tối

- blond(e) /blnd/ (and): vàng hoe (tóc)
