A.Objectives:

1.Knowledge: By the end of the lesson students know how to use questions: “ How

many…….are there?” and the answer “ There is one…/ There are two…”

Review the rule to change singular nouns to prural nouns, how to read singular nouns , prural nouns ( /s/, /z/, /iz/)

2.Skills: listening, speaking, reading and writing

3.Attitude: Hepl them have a good passion in learning English

Step 2 : Practice (17’)

I/ Hỏi và trả lời số lượng :

How many doors are there?

-> There is one How many windows are there?

-> There are two

Form :

How many + N (pl.n)+ are there? -> There is + one …

-> There are (two, three)…

Model sentences:

Nam: How many doors are there ?

are eight được dùng để xác định số lượng hiện hữu của các sự vật đếm được

Note: Danh từ trong câu trả lời ở

dạng số ít hoặc số nhiều tùy thuộc vào

số lượng hiện hữu của vật Và ta có thể trả lời ở dạng ngắn bằng cách chỉ dừng lại ở số lượng, không nhắc đến danh từ và thành phần sau đó.
