By the end of the lesson, students will be able to use “Going to” to talk about vacation plans Knowledge: - know and practice the structure "going to" to talk about vacation plans

III New lesson.

Step 1 Presentation:(12 minutes)

Act 1 Presents new words:

-a vacation = holiday: kì nghỉ

-the summer vacation : kì nghỉ hè

- destination (n) : điểm đến

-stay for ( a week/ a day) : ở trong bao lâu

- Listen to the teacher

- Repeat after the teacher

- Notice the main stress pattern

- Write the new words in their notebooks

Check vocab: Rub out and remember

I New words:

vacation (n) kì nghỉ the citadel (n) cố đô (to) stay with sb (v) ở với (ai đó) (to) stay for (v) ở trong … (thời gian) uncle (n) chú, bác (trai)

aunt (n) cô, dì visit (v) thăm, viếng thăm

English words

- Get students to call the English words

Students repeat chorally and remember all the English

- Call the English words and write the English words if
