LESSON 2 : A FRIEND (A3, 4, 5)

I/ Objectives:

1 Education aim:

- Known to greet everybody and answer the questions

2 Teaching aim:

- By the end of the lesson, students will be able to:

+ Give different greetings to people of different age

+ Develop their listening skill

II/ Preparation:

- Pictures for present, cassette, tape, chalk

1/ WARM – UP (5’)

- Ask sts to read the text about Hoa

- Ask questions

2/ PRE - LISTENING (10’)

- Present vocabulary:

+ So am I: Tôi cũng vậy

+ Just fine: Rất khoẻ, bình thường

+ Pretty good (a): Khá tốt, tương đối tốt

+ Me, too: Tôi cũng vậy

+ How is everything? : mọi việc như thế nào?

+ Will begin: Sẻ bắt đầu

+ Hurry (n): Sự vội vàng, nhanh lên

+ Nice to meet you: Rất vui khi gặp bạn

- Have sts to read in chorus

- Ask sts to look at the picture
