1 CLASS DESCRIPTION: forty seven students in class 11A1 of Xuan
Dinh high school, 16 boys and 31 girls
2 TIME: 45 minutes
3 OBJECTIVES:
By the end of the lesson, students will be able to:
- Asking and giving information about the Asian Games
- Talking about sports results of the Vietnamese athletes
4 ANTICIPATED PROBLEMS:
The class is crowded; therefore, speaking lesson may make a bit noise
5 METHOD: Integrated, mainly communicative
6 TEACHING AIDS: textbooks, cards , visual aids, handouts
7 PROCEDURE:
5’ I Warm- up activity:
- T divides class into 2 groups
- Each group has one representative to go to
the board
- Asks 2 group leaders to go to the board and
write down the sports they have learnt
Which group has more correct words will be
the winner
- write the names of sports
on the board
