UNIT 9: NATURAL DISASTERS Lesson 1: Getting started I./ Objectives

1 Knowledge: By the end of the lesson, ss will be able to:

- listen and read the dialogue about the typhoon in Nam Dinh province for details and then do some related exercises

- use lexical items related to natural disasters

- respond to good news and bad news

2 Skills: Speaking, listening, reading, writing.

3 Attitude: - Positive about natural disasters.

- Students know how to learn English in right way

4 Competence: Communication, self-learning capability, creative capacity, ability to use

of language……
