Classes : 6A1 , 6A3, 6A5

I Aims and objectives :

* Language content: To let the students know how to introduce oneself and others to

say how old one is, to ask how old to others are and to count from 1 to 20

* Language function: To enable the students to speak more fluently, to ask and answer

about So/s age, count things around them correctly

* Educational aim: To teach the students to respeak the older people, and the way to

keep things in the class, in their house…

1 Language :

a.Vocabulary: Sixteen, seventeen, eighteen, nineteen, twenty

b.Structures: This is Lan

How old are you?

I/m eleven

2 Skills : Speaking – Listening - Reading - Writing

3 Educational factor : Teacher, older people in family, at school

II Teacher’s and students’ preparation :

1 Method : Communicative Approach

2 Techniques:Repetition, guessing game, play game (bingo)

3 Material needed: Pictures, cassette, cards of numbers.

4 Students’ preparation: Making cards

III PROCEDURES IN CLASS :

1 Stabilization: 2 minutes a.Warm–up: greetings

b.Checking absence: asks te monitor who/s

absent

2 Checking up previous knowledges: Time needed:5 minutes

* Questions: Asks the students to greet his / her teacher / count from one to fifteen

* Keys to questions: good afternoon, one, two

3 Presentation of the new materials:

numbers from one to twenty

2.Explains the students to

introduce a person

3 Explains the way to play the

bingo

III While - Practice:

-Lets the students listen to the

tape the numbers one to

twenty

-Asks them to repeat

-Pays attention to the main

stressed syllables

-Lets them count from 1 to 20,

then from 2,4-20.Then from

1,3…19, then count back from

20-1

-Devides the class into groups

and let them work

- Asks them to copy the

numbers in the notebooks

-Asks the students to practise

the dialogue

-Lets them repeat and notice

the linking rounds

4 Homework:

- Asks the students to learn by heart the structures, the numbers, the dialogue and do the exercise in the exercise book on page 5-9
