I Objectives: By the end of lesson, Ss will be able to:

1 Knowledge

- Know some vocabulary related to the “Films and cinema” topic.

2 Skills:

- Listen for main ideas and specific information

- Listen to listen to deal with filling gap exercise

3 Attitude:

- By the end of the lesson, students will make a conversation for an appointment

- Vocabulary, knowledge about films and cinema

* Game: Slap the board - Divide class into 2 groups

- Show some pieces of paper on which write the name of some films

- Introduce Ss to play the game - Listen to the T and

play game

II Pre-listening: 10’

* Vocabulary:

- Lead into the lesson: “There are many activities we can do in our free time Today we will listen to a conversation between

- Introduce some words by showing some pictures, synonyms, explanation and situations

- Conduct repetition in chorus and individually

- Listen and answer the questions

- Work in pairs

III While-listening: 20’

Task 1:

Listen to the dialogue and then

answer the question “What are

- Ask Ss to read through task 1

- Ask Ss to look at the picture

on page 136 and ask some questions:

+What do you see in the picture?

+ Can you guess where they will go?

 Set the scene: “Lan and

Huong are planning to do something together Now you listen to the dialogue and tell me what they are going to do?”

- Play the recording one time and ask Ss to do answer the

- Call Ss to give the answer
