• By default, Presentation1 with blank design will be displayed
• Start adding text in the slide

• Select File/office button>>Open
• Open dialog box will appear
• Search & select a PowerPoint file from your PC
• Click open button

• You choose a Layout for your slide
• The program provides many slide layouts that hold
varying combinations of titles, text, charts and graphics
• You can choose a different layout for each slide
• After selecting the layout, the blank slide appears in the document window ready for you to add text, tables, charts
or graphics
• The program provides special text boxes and frames-
(special resizable boxes for text & graphics)

• Create title
• The text is entered for title of slide.
• When you insert a new slide, “click to add title” message
is displayed
• Write the text by clicking the box

• Text should be in bulleted format
• The text can be written in paragraph format

• Click the New Slide icon in Home tab or just press
shortcut key CTRL+M
• Choose and click the desired layout from arrow sign
in front of “New Slide” button OR

• Select the slide Thumbnail of the slide you want to
delete; with the mouse
• Right click on the slide thumbnail and select “Delete
Slide” OR
• Press DEL key

• Right click on the slide thumbnail and
choose Cut or press CTRL+X
• Select the slide thumbnail after which

• Simply click on the slide you wish to move
• And drag the slide to the new location
