1 Nhấn ngay ở vần liền trớc các từ có các tận cùng bằng: ic, ics, ion, ia, ian, iar, ial, ical, iance, ance, ium, ience, ence, iency, ient, ity, iuos, ety,eous, ual, tive, sive, ular, sure, omy, ophy, logy
2 Nhấn ở ngay trên âm có các vần tận cùng sau: entary, ade, ee, een, ese, eer,
oo, oon, ette, esque, aire, eum
3 Từ có 3 âm tiết trở lên, nhấn ở vần thứ 3 đếm từ sau ra trớc : ate, ity, ety, ical, ute, ous, tude, try, metry, nomy, logy, graphy
